Into the Blue snorkeling tour is available the whole year round in Thingvellir National Park. The Silfra fissure is located at the meeting of the tetonic plates of North America and Europe meet and has been rated by National Geographic as one of the world's top ten dive sites. The crystal clear water offers up to 100 meters of visibility giving you a feeling of being weightless as you float down with the lazy current. The pictures rest the case for one of the best kept secrets in Iceland.
Do you worry about the cold? Don't, because you'll be provided with all the necessary gear to keep you warm weather you decide to do the tour during the summer or in the middle of the winter. Among other things your gear includes a down suit, a dry suit to put on top, snorkel, neoprene hood, gloves, shoes, etc.

We recommend you bring warm clothes to put on underneath the down suit and dry suit, warm socks, a towel and clothes to change into after the tour

Please note: Although you don´t need to "swim" while snorkeling, we recommend that you can. The reason for that is people that can´t swim tend to panic when they are in the water. You have to be comfortable with floating in water
