Here‘s the winter edition of Fire Island Exploration, Reykjavik Backpackers‘ best seller summer 2009. This is a tour for those wanting to see a different side of Iceland, an experience few people will ever have. During the winter Iceland‘s nature is in it‘s purest form with it‘s rawness, clear or clowdy winter skyes. This is the real and unique experience of Iceland!

Rough itinerary:

Wednesday: Hike to the hot springs and Horse Riding

Thursday: Snorkeling in the Silfra fissure in Þingvellir, afternoon off

Friday: The Golden Circle and Lava Caving in the Leiðarendi Cave

Saturday: Glacial hike with introduction to ice climbing on Sólheimajökull and the Skógafoss waterfall

Sunday: Sleep in and explore Reykjavik on your own followed by a visit to the Blue Lagoon in the afternoon
