An ATV tour on the Reykjanes Peninsula
Available all year round
Summer Edition / Winter Edition
On this trip you'll ride through the Reykjanes peninsula. You can decide if you wish to spend 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours and up to 7 hours quad biking. In the one hour tour you'll ride to the top of Hagafell mountain where you can enjoy some magnificent views of the Blue Lagoon area and the Eldey island. Adding one more hour will take you to the Krísuvík peninsula and to the beach Selatangar. This is an awesome ride between the lava field and black sand beaches. If you wish to do 3 hours of quad biking you'll ride through the Reykjanes peninsula, see the Reykjanes light house and parts of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge that lies between the continents of North America and Europe ! You'll then drive through the beach of Sandvík, a black sand beach where Clint Eastwood made his film Flags of Our Fathers. We will stop at the old light house, get some hot chocolate, Icelandic homemade twisted doughnuts (kleinur) and glazed cinnamon rolls (snúðar). After the ATV tour it's optional to visit the Blue Lagoon which is located next to the ATV base camp. You can dive into the lagoon and choose from one of the later departures for Reykjavik city.
