Golden Circle Express & Whale Watching

You'll start the day on a whale watching tour where you can see the whales in their native environment which is an unforgettable experience. The local bird life is diverse, including birds as the Puffin, Arctic Tern, Gannet and many varieties of Gull. When you get back to dry land you'll be picked up for the Golden Circle Express tour. On this tour you'll start by visiting Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was established in the year 930 AD. Geologically it is remarkable and there you can see tectonic plate boundaries that form a breathtaking scenery. Next we'll visit the impressive Gullfoss waterfall and finally the spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. Before we return to Reykjavík we will pass Hveragerði greenhouse village.
