Reykjavik Backpackers' travel experts have put together a few suggestions of self drive tours around Iceland. We suggest tours to the South, North and West or the whole way around Iceland.

The Reykjavik Backpackers tourist information will handle all planning of your trip, book a car, book tours and accommodation around the country. You'll get detailed information, maps, etc. when you pick up your car and vouchers and after that you're free to explore Iceland on you own. In that way we want to give you service but freedom at the same time. You're free to change the itinerary and do whatever you wish but we'll give you the option of booking activities wherever you want to go around Iceland and have access to expert advice and services while in Iceland.
