Perlan

The Pearl is a famous building in Reykjavik City. It is built on six watertanks which carry aroun 4 million liters each of hot water, reserves from Reykjavik City.

The Pearl has a restaurant on the 5th floor which turns slowly 360° so guests can enjoy their dinner and at the same time have a 360° view of the city. On the 4th floor there is a café and a 360° viewing platform which is open for all guests. The Pearl also has a viking show in one of it's halls.

The staff were amazing...

"...they gave great suggestions and were so helpful with all the little and not-so-little mishaps. The location is great and having the Flybus drop you in front of the hostel is a plus. However, the place gets pretty loud so I recommend earplugs. I would definitely stay here again!" (Hostelworld review, 14. March 2010).
