Bar 11

This is the hang out for rockers in Reykjavik City. During the weekends the party is non stop from midnight until 6 am in the morning. You can enter the bar in daylight and you'll leave in daylight in the city that never sleeps. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays there are often local bands and rising rock stars performing at Bar 11.

Adventures in April!

Hey there fellow travelers!

February and March have been most exciting at Reykjavik Backpackers. We've been so lucky meeting all those great people traveling in Iceland sharing their adventures with us! This is our suggestion of a great way to spend 3 day in Iceland in April:

Day 1: Golden Circle sightseeing tour (add 26.990 ISK for snowmobiling in combination with the Golden Circle)
Day 2: Glacier hiking & Ice climbing / Day 2: Snorkeling & Lava caving
Day 3: Blue Lagoon geothermal bath (entrance fee included)

These activities + 3 nights accommodation (6 bedded dorm) at Reykjavik Backpackers: 41.990 ISK
